Hi Victoria,
Thank you so much for giving this a shot! I can’t improve the site unless people try it out and give me some feedback.
I checked it out and you accidentally posted your entry twice (probably hit “Save” then you thought it wasn’t working, so hit Save again and it may have saved it twice). No worries, I deleted the double.
The reason you got one post twice in your email is because you’re the author of the post, so you get it as everyone would but you also get a copy as the author.
Again, thanks for making the effort!
Best regards,
– Bradley
Hi Bradley,
I think I’m on the mailing list twice. Anytime anybody sends out a post, I’m receiving it twice. Any thoughts on what I can do to change that?
Thanks in advance! Hope everything is going well!
R.
Hi Rachel,
Yes, I get some two times, some not. I know it’s a glitch, but I can’t pinpoint it. The developer also recognizes the glitch, but says it may just depend on a few factors that are pretty much beyond our control: (1) your ISP (e.g. Earthlink, etc.), (2) your email program (e.g. Outlook, Yahoo, etc.), and (3) whether or not you’ve chosen to receive your updates as HTML or Plain Text.
I’ll keep up my testing and observation, but at this point, I prefer that maybe we get them twice to not getting them at all! Thanks for your feedback.
Best,
– Bradley
