As if San Francisco needed another reason to boast about being a foodie magnet… SF Chefs. Food. Wine. is a four-day food and wine event celebrating the unique flavor, diversity and bounty of Northern California. But beware: there’s only room for 1500 attendees per day so you better jump on this to get your tickets now.
The City’s most renowned chefs –– and even many that don’t have their names on the restaurant’s front door –– will congregate at the main tasting tent in Union Square from August 6th through the 9th. There, in the heart of the most upscale shops and steps from the Powell Street Cable Car, they’ll join wine makers and distillers to offer an exploration of taste featuring local products like S.F.’s famous Dungeness Crab, sushi, seafood fresh from the Pacific Coast, Asian Fusion cuisine, artisan breads, pizza, tapas, and many other delicacies.
This event is being promoted by BNI Embarcadero member Jenny Phillips of Dominic Phillips Event Marketing, who is working with Andrew Freeman & Co. & the Golden Gate Restaurant Association to produce this four-day food and wine festival. My advice? Buy your tickets now — before they’re all gobbled up.
