I use one tool and I use it well. I’ve been around the block with software to build websites and I kept coming back to one. It kept getting better, easier, stronger, faster, and more powerful. More and more companies support it, develop for it, design for it, and create plugins for it. It’s quite a bit like Apple and the iPhone: at its core, it’s a powerful (and beautiful product), but what really makes it sing are the apps. In this case, the core product is WordPress and the apps are the themes and plugins designed for it. I’m not going to use Drupal, Joomla, or any other content management system. I have one core product and I’m sticking with it.
I find I know quite a bit about website administration as well. I have a popular WordPress Hosting Review page that tells it like it is. I try to spread the knowledge with pages such as this WordPress Resources listing. I’ve basically been living and breathing WordPress for the past several years.
