All Signs Point to LED

The use of LED (Light Emitting Diode) for signage is increasing around the world.
LED is a semiconductor device that emits an electroluminescence. LED offers greater intensity of light, a longer lifetime and reduced energy consumption. In addition, LED offers uniform illumination, vivid colors and low voltage operation. LED is easy to install and has been recognized as a “green” alternative due to efficient consumption of energy.

Currently LED lighting is used in the form of display panels for outdoor displays. The largest LED panel sign (1550 ft) in the world is in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Fremont Street Experience. Imagine a city of the future, we’ve all seen them in the movies like Blade Runner or Star Wars and it does appear bright for LED.
